Ce message s’adresse tout particulièrement aux professeurs des collèges du Grand Lyon !

Pour l’année 2023 – 2024, je propose une « Classe Culturelle Numérique ». Si vous ne connaissez pas les CCL, il s’agit de projets financés par ERASME – UrbanLab (Grand Lyon), qui permettent à un professionnel d’accompagner des élèves durant toute l’année scolaire sur une thématique bien précise : développement durable, création de films, etc.

Je suis associé au projet « Self Data », dont voici la thématique : en pleine seconde guerre mondiale, nous imaginons la possibilité d’envoyer un téléphone portable dans le passé, pour aider une résistante lyonnaise à accomplir sa mission. Mais attention, qui dit « téléphone », dit « données personnelles », et chaque information que la résistante laisse échapper peut lui être fatale.

D’octobre à juin, les élèves aideront la résistante à maitriser cet outil du futur et à préserver ses données. Ce sera l’occasion de permettre aux élèves de comprendre l’importance d’être vigilant en ligne. Ils apprendront également à protéger leurs informations personnelles, en créant par exemple un mot de passe inviolable. Grâce à la fiction, nous leur transmettrons une pédagogie essentielle, concrète, utile à vie.

Presentation by Antonin ATGER at Jean Moulin Middle School in Trevoux, Ain, on June 7, 2022

For the 2023–2024 school year, I am offering a “Digital Cultural Class.” If you are not familiar with Digital Cultural Classes (DCC), these are projects funded by ERASME – UrbanLab (Greater Lyon) that allow a professional to guide students through an entire school year on a specific theme, such as sustainable development, filmmaking, and more.

I am involved in the “Self Data” project, with the following theme: in the midst of the Second World War, we imagine the possibility of sending a mobile phone back in time to help a Lyonnais resistance fighter accomplish her mission. But be careful, because “mobile phone” also means “personal data,” and every bit of information the resistance fighter lets slip could prove fatal.

From October to June, students will help the resistance fighter master this tool from the future and protect her data. This project gives students the opportunity to understand the importance of being vigilant online. They will also learn to protect their personal information, for instance, by creating an unbreakable password. Through fiction, we will teach them an essential, concrete, lifelong skill.
